Low density 5005 Aluminum Sheet for Interior Decoration
Description of 5005 aluminum sheet:
The strength of 5005 alloy aluminum plate is equivalent to 3003 alloy, and the weldability and workability are good. The 5005 aluminum plate is similar to the 3003 alloy, which has medium strength and good corrosion resistance. The anodized film is brighter than the oxide film on the 3003 alloy and is consistent with the color of the 6063 alloy.
5005 aluminum is a 5000-series aluminum alloy: the main alloying addition is magnesium, and it is formulated for primary forming into wrought products. 5005 is the Aluminum Association (AA) designation for this material. In European standards, it will be given as EN AW-5005. AlMg1(B) is the EN chemical designation. N41 is the British Standard (BS) designation. And A95005 is the UNS number.It has been in use since 1935, but has only received its standard designation in 1954.
